Mare of Easttown

It was only a matter of time before Kate Winslet would have reached the physical perfection of someone who could play a battered detective with a penchant for Heineken.

At first glance, I was convinced the cousin of Erin’s father must have been part of some sex ring the dynamics of which led to her murder. Two episodes in, however, I’m convinced it’s actually Mare’s priestly cousin who did it, potentially to as a crime passionelle because he was jealous that she could attract the advances of his colleague when he couldn’t.
